L'Oustal Blanc Naick Rouge Production area, geology:
- Soils developed with marl covered with shale located in the Minervois, fersiallitic soils in the Saint Chinian.
Vines, yield:
- 60% of cinsault.
- 20% of carignan
- 20% of syrah and grenache.
- The yield is of 30 hl/ha.
Raising:
- The cinsault remains in the vat to keep the fruity flavor and the freshness of the grape.
- The carignan and the syrah are raised 12 months in barrels of 1 or 2 wines to bring complexity.
After assembly and three months spent in vats, the Naïck vintage is bottled.
Tasting:
- Smell of black berries and prunes.
- Well structured taste thanks to a nice minerality and a silky texture, realizing a complex and harmonious taste.
Service:
- Between 16°c and 17°c maximum.
