The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of warm black currant, crushed blackberries and dark chocolate covered cherries of earthy nuances of tar and damp loam. It offers good balance in the mouth with crisp acid and medium-firm fine-grained tannins lending support to the full, generous, juicy fruit. The finish is long. Drinking now, it should remain fresh to 2014.
