Scarzello Barolo

This is an excellent modern Barolo. It has beautiful, classic aromas of dry cherries, cloves, bittersweet chocolate, cigarbox, raspberry liquor, and rose petals. On the palate it is much more restrained, which is typical for a young Barolo. It is however not overly tannic and astringent. It is pleasant, although tannic, and definitely asks for red meat or other hearty food. Enjoy for the next 8-10 years.
