Introducing a GIANT powerhouse red of serious quality - with deep, lingering black fruit character, luxuriously smooth oak.

The rare Durif grape is normally used as a "turbo-charge" to add inky-black, full-flavoured fruit to lesser wines. Though increasingly popular, pure Durifs are still rare. The grape that "takes no prisoners" (The Observer) needs a master like award-winning winemaker Bill Calabria to tame it.

Vibrant, opaque inky-dark colour, with aromas of blackberry, liquorice and spice. Astonishingly smooth, with BIG flavours of ripe black cherries, chocolate and soft oak that go on and on and on. Great with rich, meaty casseroles and rare steaks.
