Schild Reserve Shiraz Barossa 87 pts Wine Advocate
The 2008 Shiraz gives a deep garnet color and intense notes of very ripe bramble fruits, creme de cassis and kirsch over licorice and chocolate. The palate is appealing though a little over-ripe and lacking finesse with medium level soft tannins and high acid, finishing medium-long. Drink it now through 2013.
