Jessup Cellars Merlot

Not your typical serious merlot, this one says come out and play! with candy apple, brown sugar and nice herbal hints on the nose. The palate rounds out a bit with some mature notes of tobacco, thyme, black cherry syrup and tart pomegranate seeds. As with the majority of younger wines, an hour in a decanter would not go amiss. This is a medium-bodied merlot, not overly heavy, with an easy finish.
